ARK: Survival Evolved‘s Wyvern Milk is a substance that survivors use to feed young Wyverns in Scorched Earth, Ragnarok, Valguero, and Lost Island. They can collect it by taking it from the inventory of either deceased Alpha Fire Wyvern of either gender or wild unconscious female Wyvern. Here are more details so you can understand exactly how to get Wyvern Milk in ARK: Survival Evolved.

Getting Wyvern Milk in ARK: Survival Evolved

ARK Survival Evolved Loot Get Wyvern Milk
Wyvern full of Milk

Players can recover 5 Wyvern Milk from an unconscious female Wyvern’s inventory. Of course, after they have defeated her. You should loot the Wyvern as soon as you can since its torpor quickly wears out. If it wakes up with the Milk still inside, the Milk will perish. It will be back once the refresh period is done.

If a reset period of one hour is given, it is possible to knock out the same female Wyvern many times and still get milk. However, it is impossible to keep the wyvern in the trap since aware wyverns run to the trench as soon as they are beyond the range of render.

An Alpha Wyvern of any sex can also have 50 Wyvern Milk in their inventory. However, because the Wyvern is deceased, the milk will have the standard spoilage duration.

You’ll need a very strong tame with loads of health, damage, and an attack that can reliably strike a flying and quickly moving foe to kill an Alpha Wyvern. The size and crimson light that surrounds Alpha Wyverns make them easy to spot from a distance.

You will need a Spyglass to determine a wild Wyvern’s gender from a distance to knock out a female for milking. Once you find a dino, you should engage her and then lead her to a secure location. But if you tame her she will not produce milk, only have a set amount in the inventory

Using Wyvern Milk

A great Wyvern / Tamer relationship

You can use ARK: Survival Evolved’s Wyvern Milk to nurture and imprint on newborn Wyverns. We should emphasize that, until reaching adulthood, a Wyvern will only consume this milk.

A newborn Wyvern receives 1200 food from Wyvern Milk. Unfortunately, Wyverns in their infancy, youth, and adolescence won’t consume either raw or cooked meat.

Players can also ingest it to receive the Insulating Warmth bonus that lasts 180 seconds. It protects 787 against hypothermia and makes them immune to disease. Additionally, it protects from the Enflamed debuff caused by Wyvern fire breath attacks. It also protects from the Bleed effect caused by Allosaurus, Giganotosaurus, and Carnotaurus.

Now, you finally know how to raise your little Wyverns in ARK: Survival Evolved. With just a little bit of milk, your great dinosaur army will be unstoppable! If you looking to expand your team of dinos, here are a few that are extremely useful when it comes to harvesting and transportation:
