One of the best guns in Warzone is the Grau. With a great fire rate and a fast time to kill, it’s easily one of the most fun weapons to use in the game. Because of that, you expect to see it in almost every loadout. However, it’s not as easy to unlock as one might think. Here’s how to unlock the Grau in Warzone and also the best loadout for the Grau.

How to Unlock the Grau in Warzone

Although the Grau is one of the best weapons in the game, you rarely see players use it. Especially newer players. That is because the gun is very tough to unlock. The challenge of unlocking the Grau might be one of the most difficult in the whole game.

The challenge you have to complete to get the Grau assault rifle is: Using assault rifles, get five kills in a minute, twenty-five times. That’s right. You have to get five kills in a minute or less. Especially tough to do in a battle royale.

The challenge is brutal because Modern Warfare (2019) was also just launched when Warzone came out. The players were able to unlock the Grau through MW. However, not as many players own the game now, and it’s not worth getting just for a particular weapon.

Even though Vanguard is the new face of Warzone right now, the gun is still one of the best.

Luckily, you can do a couple of things to make the challenge much more accessible.

Warzone Grau Challenge

Tips for Unlocking the Grau Faster

Although the challenge is very hard, it’s not impossible. It will take a bit of grinding, but it can be done quickly. First, there are some things we need to consider. Since the challenge does not explicitly say twenty-five different matches, you can make progress towards your challenge more than once per match.

For the purpose of completing this challenge, we highly recommend playing either the Resurgence or Plunder game modes, depending on availability. That is because many other players are using those modes to complete challenges and level up weapons, so there are many hotspots on the map.

Before jumping into the game, make sure you load up correctly. Create a loadout with two assault rifles of your choice, preferably the ones you’re best at. If you want to add some spice to your build, add the incendiary rounds attachment. After you’re in, make the challenge your only focus. You don’t have to win or even finish a match to progress in the challenge; all you have to do is get the five kills in a minute or less.

Another essential thing to know is that deaths do not reset the kill counter. For example, if you get three kills in ten seconds, die, respawn and get two more in under a minute, progress will still count towards the challenge. There is no need to pull your punches on this one; play as aggressively as possible.

Finally, if you find yourself unable to get the five kills OR get a second tally to the challenge, it’s better to leave the match and go into a new one. This will make it easier to find more players clumped in the usual hot spots of the map.
