According to the Developers, Kingdom Come Deliverance is making it’s way to Nintendo Switch consoles soon! Here’s all we know about the medieval-RPG’s handheld launch…
Kingdom Come: Deliverance seems to be the next title to get the Switch Port treatment, with a seemingly surprise launch scheduled for as early as February 18 by Warhorse Studios.
Eagle-eyed fans spotted that Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition for Nintendo Switch was added to the company’s release schedule. What’s interesting though is that there is no word on this from Nintendo themselves.
This doesn’t mean it isn’t a possibility. It could be information saved for an upcoming Nintendo Direct or a Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Presentation. They’re a thing, too! Much like The Witcher III‘s Switch release, I would expect a lower fidelity in favour of performance on Nintendo Switch consoles. It also might be a bit of a battery-drainer, most suited to docked gameplay.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition comes with the base game, plus a whole load of downloadable content. This includes From the Ashes and The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon, two of the larger content additions. KC:D ( okay that’s a bad acronym) originally launched on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2018.
” You’re Henry, the son of a blacksmith. Thrust into a raging civil war, you watch helplessly as invaders storm your village and slaughter your friends and family. Narrowly escaping the brutal attack, you grab your sword to fight back. Avenge the death of your parents and help repel the invading forces.”Official Game Description
