After almost 40 minutes of the match, Machi Esports take home their first championship victory against the veteran and favourite Team Liquid
TL got a quick first blood on the enemy adc thanks to the Caitlyn-Lux combo right before the three-minute mark. However, MCX jungkler Gemini was not to be outdone, as he immediately flashes on to Jensen to get Mission a kill and bringing back MCX on the board.
Gemini ganks top lane and takes a kill, Impact had no hope, it won’t lose experience anyway, but will give experience to the enemy jungler. In mid lane Jensen is very aggressive against Mission, granting the enemy midlaner a kill.
Both teams maintain a very good view in the enemy jungle, in fact, both junglers remain permanently under enemy vision: for the MCX this has been imported from the first minute of the game thanks to Gemini roam all over the map, but this has also led the TL to have to find the information about the enemy jungler and so to set a very good view in the map. The presence of Gemini had brought the MCX solo lane to dominate, however a series of top lane ganks from Broxah managed to cancel out the difference.
But once again Gemini is in the middle of the game, managing to keep the pressure high thanks to some well done rotations, including the pressure in solo lane and jungle targets. Whenever MCX know where Broxah is, they manage to create actions on the other side of the map.
First tower for MCX thanks to Gemini’s herald and top lane gangs.
The teams manage to acquire one dragon each, the heath one dragon each: cloudy heath, which means 30% cooldown in case of dragon soul, this leads the two teams to move their target to the lower side of the map. Worth mentioning is the MCX mid laner, Mission, with 214 minions in 19 mins of play, its Syndra is a super power farm with only one kill on its side.
Gemini and Mission manage to find the kill in bots against Jensen, leaving the MCXs a chance to take the first dragon of the cloud.
Impact tries to kill PK in botside, but fails, this brings the MCX into control of the lower quadrant of the map, which also takes them to the second cloud dragon, taking them to soul point. After the MCX Dragon heads towards the Baron, the TLs try to challenge and steal it, but no luck: MCX also conquers the Baron Buff and gets a gold spike that brings them closer and closer to victory. MC in all this they have kept pressure and control of the botside map, and so they also secure the third dragon. At this point TL cannot afford to fight: MCX dictate the pace of the game. MCX move towards their second baron, Broxah tries the insertion and steal, but fails.
At this point Mission has 430 minions at 35 minutes.
The two teams clash midlane, TL try to defend their base, but the enemy toplaner, PK, teleports into the back line of the North American team, locking all TL members in a vice. MCX go to close the game, chase the remaining TL members into their base and manage to destroy their nexus, winning the game.
