Time-bending turn based first person shooter, Lemnis Gate, has finally been given a release date of August 3, and is now available for pre-order. Additionally, anyone who pre-orders the game will receive a 20% discount. This offer will, of course, only be available until the game releases.
Alongside the 20% discount, pre-order skins will be included, which consists of the cosmetics-only “Mettle Mantis” exclusive operative and weapon skin for KARL.
For those since on the fence about it, an open beta is planned on July. It is open beta, meaning that everyone will be able to access it before the game releases.
However, the beta will only happen on PC. More details to come regarding the beta as the day approaches, so be sure to check out their social media to keep up to date on news. They also have website, which has all the necessary information.
Lemnis Gate is a time-warping, turn-based combat strategy FPS. Over five alternating turns taking place in a 25” time-loop, you are called to master the unique abilities of a varied cast of deep-space operatives and outskill, outsmart, and outmanoeuvre your opponent in mind-bending four-dimensional battles.

Lemnis Gate is an interesting take on FPS games, being turn-based set around 25-second time loops. It essentially aims to create a first person shooter that relies less on aiming, but more on strategic gameplay in a 4D environment, meaning focus is more geared towards outwitting your opponents.
We have a quick explanation of how it works, but trying out the game hands-on will be the best way to understand the mechanics.
Lemnis Gate will release on August 3 on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation at $19.99 USD/$22.79 CAD or $15.99 USD/$18.23 CAD if purchased before the release date. There is currently no information regarding cross-play or cross-progression.
