As the esports industry continues to expand into every avenue of entertainment, it also does so further into ESPN. The Madden 21 Player Ratings are set to be revealed by ESPN from Monday onwards.

July 13-17, ESPN will exclusively reveal #Madden21 player ratings on @GetUpESPN, @SportsCenter, @FirstTake & #NFL Live

Here’s all the info!

It seems that the line between virtual sports and the non-virtual variant of sports is being blurred further and further as of late. Argentinian football club River Plate have recently taken another step into the world of esports by signing a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team. This may not be a sports game, but it’s still an important step. If anything, it’s a bigger step than them having a virtual FIFA team (which many of them do). Still, fans of Madden will be happy to learn that their game isn’t being left in the dust and ESPN will be revealing Madden 21 player ratings live on the network!

Madden 21 Player Ratings: 99 Club Being Revealed By ESPN’s The Get Up

Madden 21 Player Ratings
Brady going to the Buccs is arguably the biggest move of the year.

Player ratings, much like they are for FIFA, are the biggest talking point for every new Madden title. Who’s improved? Whose lack of form has been punished? It’s a fairly important thing, to be fair, as these ratings affect the core of the gameplay. So far, Madden has revealed the ratings of rookie QBs but is now moving to ESPN for the rest. Several programs will be talking with players and revealing their ratings throughout the weeks before release, with ESPN’s The Get Up having the special business of revealing those with a 99 rating.

This decision follows the success of last year’s E:60 which highlighted the ratings process behind the title. ESPN Exec Norby Williams has said that revealing ratings live on ESPN was a “natural next step for us”.
