Paris Saint-Germain and French National Team forward Kylian Mbappé will be the FIFA 21 cover star following FIFA 20’s cover stars: Eden Hazard, Virgil Van Dijk, and Zinedine Zidane. Mbappé will appear on all three versions of the game.

Football fans have been lucky this week! First we get the news that PES 2021 will be nearly half price upon launch… Now, we find out who has the illustrious position of being the face of FIFA 21!

Here’s what he had to say about the honour:

Being on the cover of FIFA is a dream come true. From my time at Bondy to Clairefontaine to the World Cup, this marks another big milestone. I’ve been playing this game since I was a kid and I am honoured to represent a whole new generation of footballers and be in the same group as many other amazing footballers who I now share this honour with.

Unfortunately for FIFA fans, there is no news that EA Sports will be following suit and lowering their price. PES 2021 has lowered their price due to the next title not being a full upgrade from PES 2020.

You can read about the rest of that here: PES 2021 Will Be Cheaper Than PES 2020

At the age of twenty-one, Mbappé is truly a force to be reckoned with and arguably the biggest up-and-coming star in world football. When he made his move to Paris Saint-Germain in 2018, he became the second-most expensive player ever and the most expensive teenager ever. €180 million is a hell of a lot of money, but he seems to be worth it. He’s already won three Ligue 1 titles with PSG and has already become their 7th highest goalscorer ever. You feel that after another season or two, he’d be able to work his way up easily.
