Who Is Going To Win?

For the first time ever, I can honestly say I have no idea who is going to win this Major. Because so many big teams are skipping this event to rest up after an exhausting International, this Major is wide open for so many teams to take. Let’s go through a couple who will be hoping to take home the trophy.

Vici Gaming: Vici Gaming are the closest things to favourites at this event, having won two majors last season and finishing Top 6 at TI9. The Chinese roster will be looking to impressive in their home country.

Evil Geniuses: EG look like the real deal this year. Having replaced ”s4” and ”SumaiL” with ”Abed” and ”RAMZES666”, they could be a real force in the Dota 2 scene. They dominated the North America Qualifiers for this event and will be looking to kick off the new season with a Grand Final appearance.

Fnatic: If there was ever an event that Fnatic could win, it’s this one. Despite playing with new players ”23savage” and ”Moon”, the SEA Team looked very impressive during the qualifiers, even without a bootcamp or playing in a team house. I can only imagine how strong this team can be if they get rolling.

TNC Predator: The Filipino organisation took ESL One Hamburg 2019 by force, looking dominant in the process. With so many big teams missing, TNC should see this major as the perfect time to stamp their authority and send a message to the rest of the Dota 2 rosters.

Talent Lineup:

MDL have acquired an impressive lineup of talent, including Desk Host
Jorien ”Sheever” Heijden, Commentator Owen “ODPixel” Davies and Analyst Grant “GranDGranT” Harris.
