Chozo warriors in Metroid Dread
In the newest trailer reveal during Gamescom, multiple Chozo are seen and are hostile to Samus. The reasoning for this is currently unknown.
The Chozo shown in the trailer possesses the advanced technology the race is known for. One of them is equipped with an Arm Cannon similar to Samus’. We can also see that they can easily overpower her.
Chozo soldiers are also featured, wielding spear-like weapons. In gameplay footage, they are shown to be very capable in combat.
Alongside these Chozo fighters are robot Chozo soldiers, created using advanced technology. They possess and electromagnetic blade and an Arm Cannon.
The presence of Chozo is one of the Metroid Dread game’s many “terrors.” Samus was raised by the Chozo, but the Chozo who appear in this game are extremely hostile. Plus, she gets completely overwhelmed in her battle against a mysterious Chozo figure.
What plans do these Chozo have? Are they enemies or allies to Samus? If they are enemies, how in the world will Samus defeat them?
You’ll have to play the game to get the answers you seek!
