Minecraft Dungeons DLC is already on the way! Jungle Awakens will be arriving in July. This comes alongside news that developers are already working to implement a crossplay feature to the isometric dungeon crawler.

Minecraft Dungeons DLC was always on the cards, as confirmed by the Hero Edition’s contents noting that two DLC packs will be coming. However, I don’t think anyone expected the first one quite so soon. But this July, Jungle Awakens is coming to Minecraft Dungeons.
In this addition to Minecraft Dungeons, players will be able to explore three new missions set in “a distant, dangerous jungle”. These come with terrifying new opponents for you to face. Additionally, there will be new weapons, armor, and artifacts for you to uncover amongst the vines.
The Leapleaf, Jungle Zombie, and Poison Quill Vine are just some of the enemies you’ll face.
Following on from this, Cristina Anderca of Minecraft.net continued on to announce that Creeping Winter will be the next DLC pack. This is coming sometime later in the year, along with crossplay features and free content drops.
It is a little concerning that Minecraft Dungeons is getting DLC so early on, which might raise concerns about its longevity as a title, but Minecraft itself is still going strong after nearly 10 years.
If you’ve purchased the Hero Edition of Minecraft Dungeons, you’ll be able to access Jungle Awakens when it releases in July as a part of the Hero Pass. For the full article, click here.
