World-renowned business magazine Forbes revealed a list of the most valuable esports organizations. With the professional esports scene growing exponentially each year, the teams are bringing in more money than ever.

2019 was a very productive year for esports in general. Fortnite entering the scene with the first World Cup has been a huge success. Also, Overwatch League is growing in popularity, and CS:GO is still having great viewership numbers.

The cherry on top was League of Legends World Championship that brought in almost four million concurrent viewers, excluding a massive Chinese audience. Additionally, the production level across titles is top-notch, and viewership is more abundant than ever.

The Most Valuable Esports Organizations for 2019

11. NRG Esports ($120 million)

NRG secured their spot in the 2020 CDL for their team, Chicago Huntsmen, as well as competing in OWL as San Francisco Shock. Also, NRG competes in a lot of other video games such as Apex, Fortnite, and Rocket League to name a few.

NRG attracted some of the first celebrities like Shaquille O’Neil and Alex Rodriguez to invest in esports back in early 2016. Their estimated revenue is $20 millikon and overall value is $150 million.

10. 100 Thieves ($160 million)

Founded by former Call of Duty pro player Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag and supported by Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert and Drake, 100 Thieves are valued at $160 million with revenue estimated at $10 million.

100T compete in the North American League of Legends LCS as well as Fortnite and CS:GO. However, they are very dedicated to their content, as some of the biggest streamers like CouRageJD and Yassuo are a part of the org.

9. G2 Esports ($165 million)

G2 Esports is one of the biggest teams in League of Legends, founded by former pro Carlos “ocelote” Rodriguez. The back-to-back LEC champions won the MSI and reached Worlds final.

Also, they compete in many other esports, most notably in CS:GO and Rainbow Six. G2 esports is valued at $165 million with estimated revenue at $22 million.

8. Envy Gaming ($170 million)

Valued at $170 million and with an estimated $8 million annual revenue, Call of Duty powerhouse Envy Gaming is the 8th most valuable esports organization. They own Dallas Fuel in OWL as well as Dallas Empire in newly formed CDL.

They also compete in CS:GO, Fortnite, PUBG, Super Smash Bros and Paladins.

7. Fnatic ($175 million)

Fnatic is one of the “original” esports organizations in the world, founded in 2004. They are the winningest organization in the European League of Legends, as well as one of the best orgs in CS:GO history. They also compete in Dota 2, Rainbow Six, Fortnite and many more titles.

European giants are valued at $175 million, with revenue estimated at $16 million.

6. Gen.G ($185 million)

Korean organization has grown massively in the past years. They successfully entered the American market, with teams in OWL and NBA 2K League. Still, they are prevalent in Korea as they compete in League of Legends LCK.

Gen.G’s revenue is estimated at $9 million a year, and the org is valued at $185 million.

5. Immortals Gaming Club ($210 million)

OpTic Gaming, Immortals, MiBR and LA Valiant are all prevalent and successful teams in CoD, LoL, CS:GO, and Overwatch, all owned by IGC.

With a value of $210 million and annual revenue estimated at $11 million, Immortals Gaming Club is 5th most valuable esports organization in the world.

4. Faze Clan ($240 million)

FaZe Clan started as a group of guys making Call of Duty trick shots on YouTube. Flash forward ten years and FaZe is competing in multiple titles (most notably CS:GO) and have some of the biggest streamers and YouTubers in the industry.

According to Forbes, FaZe is valued at $240 million with annual revenue being $35 million.

3. Team Liquid ( $320 million)

Team Liquid is valued at $320 million, with an estimated annual revenue of $24 million. TL’s CS: GO team was especially dominating in 2019, setting the new record of 23 consecutive matches won. Also, their LoL team won four straight LCS titles, and their Dota 2 team secured three straight International finishes.

2. Cloud 9 ($400 million)

Another American organization sits at the top with a value of $400 million and annual revenue of $29 million. C9 had much success across the years in League of Legends, CS:GO as well as their London Spitfire winning the inaugural season of Overwatch League.

1. Team SoloMid ($400 million)

With a value of $400 million and an estimated revenue of $35 million, TSM is the most valuable esports organization. The organization’s value jumped by a whopping $150 million compared to 2018.

TSM competes in many video games, but their League of Legends team is their “pride”. They have a huge fanbase even though the team has been struggling in past years.
