I will go on record here and say that I personally love Pokemon Sword & Shield. While it’s not perfect, I think a lot of the community is complaining about very minor details that don’t detract from the game’s overall playability and charm.
But I will admit that so many elements of the games were rushed. There have been 4 new Pokemon games within the last 4 years. 2 of them were on the Nintendo Switch. That’s completely new hardware that Game Freak has never created games for. I wish Game Freak had an extra year to really make this the greatest Pokemon game ever.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, and the game was definitely rushed. This latest finding proves it. During the Pokemon Sword/Shield end credits, a mouse cursor can be seen briefly on screen, meaning someone likely used screen capture software (such as OBS) to capture the end credits, and that was the version that ended up in the official release.
While it’s clearly an oversight, this could definitely be a sign of a rushed game or just employees being completely burnt out and not caring. Either way, it’s pretty amusing to watch. Look out for it at 0:59 on the video down below, or click here.
