Mr Beast is currently one of the biggest YouTubers on the platform with 62 million subscribers and 10 billion views accumulated in total but what could have happened if this apparent signing happened according to FaZe Banks with Mr Beast himself confirming it.
In a recent episode of the No Jumper podcast, FaZe Banks claims that he could have signed Mr Beast twice over the past few years, but the deals fell. With FaZe being one of the biggest brands in gaming and on YouTube being around since 2010 they themselves have accumulated over 8.6 million subscribers and 1.09 billion views; this could have been one of the biggest signings of the generation.
This would have been interesting to see how that would have impacted his growth with a lot of people in reaction to this podcast saying that he would not have had the same type of growth due to FaZe Clan’s brand. Recently FaZe Banks has come under fire for hosting a large party in L.A. during the coronavirus pandemic. Even still FaZe stay relevant as ever daily and Mr Beast collabs with an amalgamation of YouTubers but having that easier access to the FaZe content team could possibly have made content easier for him.
Mr Beast grew in popularity over recent years with his extravagant video ideas of giving money to people for doing egregious tasks and since then has gained such a huge following that he has been able to invest that money into opening his own fast-food chain, Mr Beasts Burgers. Not only that but in March 2019 in an undisclosed area he hosted a Paintball Battle Royale tournament with names such as Muselk, NoahJ456, Roman Atwood and the Misfits.
FaZe has been around since 2010 starting with Call of Duty montage videos that then transitioned into more in person content around 2015-2016 when CoD content started to lose viewership on the platform due to unentertaining releases. Since then, they have garnered over 80 members with millions of subscribers that grow daily.
What do you think would have happened if this were to go through? Do you think he would’ve grown more or do you think the FaZe Clan name would have slowed his growth?
