MultiVersus: Best Bugs Bunny Perks

MultiVersus Best Perks and Build Bugs Bunny

Bugs Bunny is probably the most iconic character in the entire Warner Brothers library. For decades, the lovable “wabbit” has been terrorizing hunters and ducks on our silver screens. It is now time for him to spearhead MultiVersus into the mainstream of gaming. Here are the best Bugs Bunny perks in MultiVersus.

How to play Bugs Bunny in MultiVersus

When the game first came out, we rated Bugs quite high in our tier list. As time passed and players got better at the game, they realized just how much potential the character has, and he is now standing tall as the best hero in the entire game. He is so strong in fact, that six of the top 10 players on the ladder main him.

Bugs is one of the two “caster” characters in MultiVersus. Most of his damage comes from high-range abilities that deal a lot of damage and can be chained together to deal massive amounts of damage. Since most heroes right now in MultiVersus are either bruisers or fighters, they struggle against someone like Bugs.

Another important lair of his kit is the utility. Unmatched in the game so far, Bugs has a lot of tools to escape or dodge high damage abilities, and CC that lets him easily chain combos, creating many kill opportunities that other heroes don’t have.

With how strong he is, it is very hard for him to be outright countered, but some heroes like Wonder Woman and Batman can work against him. He has a lot of good matchups but is best against horizontal bruisers like Garnet or Shaggy.

Best Perks for Bugs Bunny in MultiVersus

Since Bugs is the premiere caster/mage character in MultiVersus, our build focuses on empowering his spells. When playing as Bugs, you’re going to spend most of your time shooting projectiles and not really getting close. If your enemies get close, you have your Bunny Borrow to escape.

Bugs is great in both 1v1 and 2v2 since his allies are able to knock his projectiles and use his Bunny Borrow to move around the arena. Since he is a perfect source of damage, he is best when paired with an aggressive bruiser or a support.

Best Synergies: Garnet, Batman, Reindog, Velma

Signature Perk – Lingering Love

Bugs has many perks that are really good, but his signature perks aren’t that great. Although you can make a case for both of them, they are only really usable against inexperienced players. Lingering Love leaves behind a heart that charms enemies that run into it, for a short period of time.

It does have some uses and if your enemies somehow stumble into it it can be great, but we’d be lying if we said this is a good perk. It’s just the best we got.

Offense Perk – Make it Rain, Dog!

This is where things get really good. “Make it Rain, Dog!” increases Bugs and his team’s projectile speed by 20%. Since you are going to spend most of your time throwing projectiles, this offers the same value as a signature perk.

Increasing the speed of your rocket and other projectiles with this perk is one of the reasons Bugs is so hated right now. This perk eliminates some weaknesses in certain match-ups against fast assassins like Finn.

Defense Perk – Boundless Energy

To balance Bugs in a fair way, the developers had to give him some weaknesses. His main weakness is that his combos are really static. Sure, he can move and jump around and fly in the air when shooting projectiles, but when it comes to performing combos, which you will have to do in order to win, he is very vulnerable.

Boundless Energy gives Bugs 10% faster recharge for the dodge invulnerability, to give him a bigger safety net in case you miss your combo or get caught.

Utility Perk – Tasmanian Trigonometry

Tasmanian Trigonometry increases your knockback influence by 15%. Need we say more? A caster character like Bugs that pretty much perma-spams projectiles with huge knockback will never say no to MORE knockback.

This also helps in tougher matchups when enemies are able to get up close and personal. It’s another perk that offers Bugs as much value as a signature one.

Although Bugs is one of the strongest characters in MultiVersus, you might find him quite hard to master. If you are looking for an easier hero to play, we got you covered:
