Nemesis Revealed T1 Fans Harassed LS’ Grandmother

Updated:

After LS was rumoured to become a T1 coach following a leak from T1 Effort on stream, Korean fans did not take it well, as they started harassing the coach’s grandmother.

Nemesis says LS is “in a Really Bad Spot

Korean fans always had some controversial conflicts with LS. Him defending the former BBQ jungler Sebastian “Malice” Edholm, who was considererd toxic & racist among Korea’s top challenger players, was the main reason why he was disliked by the Korean community.
While many, even among pros, regarded him as a very knowledgeable coach, his attitude & behaviour was not considered very professional.
Nemesis is one of LS’ friends in the professional scene & he shared on stream that LS’ grandmother was being targeted by T1 fans.

LS isn’t Loved by Korean Fans, but T1 Fans are Taking it to Another Level

This happened just one day after fans parked a truck outside the T1′ HQs, protesting against the management for the recent leaks about T1’s coaching staff.

All of these events made LS himself announce that he would be inactive on Twitter for some time. On the same platform, players & people in the industry who have worked with him, like Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau, are defending him. He mentioned that LS is the “most korean biased individual” & that T1’s management are “making their decisions to help Faker earn his 4th Worlds trophy.”

Former LCK caster & current General Manager for 100 Thieves Christopher “PapaSmithy” Smith also expressed his disappointment in a tweet.

Fans are clearly unhappy with T1’s management, as they’re trying to force LS to not join the team. However, this kind of behaviour cannot be accepted & it will only taint the rising industry of esports. Even if LS doesn’t have the most shining history behind his back, his devotion to League of Legends is immense & that will be surely added value. Not to mention that he can speak both English & Korean fluently, which is something not very common in the League scene.
If he decided to take the job as a T1 coach, it means that LS will put his all to succeed. Not only for the organization, but also for himself, as he’s looking for redemption & showing everyone that he’s one of the most insightful analysts in the world.
