Call of Duty Mobile Season 11 is set to kick off for players on October 22 and with it brings a new map, new weapons, and more. Let’s take a look at what they have in store for players for the new season:
A Map Fit For a King
It looks like the new Call of Duty Mobile map is called King. This will be a familiar map to players of other Call of Duty titles, as King was introduced to Call of Duty Modern Warfare in August 2019 as a map for the new Multiplayer game mode “Gunfight.” Gunfight pits players against each other in 2v2 or 3v3 fights with pre-selected weapons on close-range maps. The goal of this was to provide players with short, sweet, and quick action filled rounds that give players little time to prepare and even less time to react to their environment. The map itself, as described by Activision, is “a roughly-symmetrical training range warehouse with each player starting behind an L-shaped defensive structure made from sections of wood subfloor. Along the perimeter are two connected metal shipping containers (with “Shoot House” sprayed on each one), offering protection, but no clear line of sight. The center of the map is a half-constructed plywood stage with stairs at each end, crates to climb, and a concrete base with three small tunnels to traverse. The [overtime] flag spawns in the center tunnel.” Call of Duty Mobile players will be able to jump into the King map as a part of the Gunfight mode as well as the Mobile exclusive “1v1 Duel” mode on October 22.
Guns, Guns, Guns
Season 11 will also introduce new weapons to the game. While it is currently unknown what these weapons are exactly, we do know that there will be multiple weapons within various categories added to the game with the Season 11 update, so it looks like players who enjoy changing up their mobile arsenal will have plenty of fun with the upcoming changes. It seems that there have also been hints of a new Advanced UAV scorestreak that will not only display the enemy player’s location, but also the direction in which the enemy is facing, so Call of Duty Mobile players also have that to look forward to.
That’s what we’ve got so far for Call of Duty Mobile’s Season 11 update, we’re sure to get more news in the coming weeks before the anniversary update releases on October 22, 2020.
