The Sims Twitter recently announced a new stuff pack for The Sims 4 that will be fully revealed on January 12th.
The pack itself seems to hint at including ghosts and other paranormal stuff, according to a tweet that The Sims Twitter posted, seen below.
The preview gives us a quick hint at what could be included in the new stuff pack for The Sims 4 and will apparently be fully announced on January 12th. It’s very clear there will be ghosts involved and possibly might include more than just stuff, like a new skill or trait similar to previous stuff packs like Nifty Knitting or Tiny Living.
It is possible there could be some form of skill relating to investigating or ghost hunting based on the tweet, which would certainly lead to some interesting, paranormal gameplay.

Looking through the comments on the Twitter post, though, fans don’t seem to be too happy. Many have complained that the game is missing basic features it should have had long ago and instead they are releasing a pack many did not ask for.
One of the biggest packs to get backlash was The Sims 4: Journey to Batuu which came out last September. Many people argued that when this pack was released, it was not a popularly requested pack. Many were arguing that they would rather see cars, babies, and bunk beds in the game before a Star Wars pack.

Often, The Sims Team has community voting to gauge what packs the players would like to see next. Not too long ago, they held a community vote that included a section called Happy Haunts, which included a ghost hunter freelance career, séance table and spirit board, psychic freelancer career, grim reaper freelancer career, and a haunted house lot trait.
Many now believe that this previous idea is what they are using for their newest stuff pack that is being released soon. The Happy Haunts theme originally lost to the Nifty Knitting pack.
Either way, when the pack is fully announced, it will be interesting to see the responses and what people think of it. Let us know in the comments below what you think and if you are excited about this next stuff pack!
