It seems EA have finally learnt their lesson and is no longer maximizing micro-transaction possibilities. It has been revealed that Star Wars: Squadrons won’t feature any micro-transactions.
The game will also feature a single player campaign in addition to the core multiplayer experience. Pre-orders have gone live too and have revealed the game will sell for less than the standard AAA game. It is currently listed on the Xbox Store for £34.99, as opposed to £49.99 or £59.99 that AAA games usually retail for. Hopefully this doesn’t indicate the quality and that it is a rushed game to gain easy sales.
The reveal trailer was released recently and we will get the first official gameplay screen shots later today during the EA Play show.
