Already two events into the season and we are approaching the third tournament – Summer Showdown. Blizzard already announced the Patch, Map Pool, and more details regarding the Overwatch: Summer Showdown.
Three weeks of qualifiers for the event will start on June 25 and will kick off with London Spitfires VS Paris Eternal following up with Los Angeles Gladiators VS San Francisco Shock. The list of qualifier matches along with times is available on the OWL website.
For OWL Season 2021 the Trade Deadline is July 29 (6 PM PT), it is just before the Countdown Cup, which is the final event in the season, begins.
Teams will not be permitted to trade players after the deadline but will still be able to sign free agents. These regulations will last until the end of the season.
Overwatch: Summer Showdown begins in just a few days and you will be able to follow all the action on the YouTube channel of Overwatch League. The Pick’em bracket for the event will be open soon as well.
