Palia is a massively multiplayer community simulation game set in a brand new high fantasy world with elements of open-world adventure games. It’s a cozy and welcoming world that we hope fans of the community sim genre will love for years to come.
The game promises to deliver an experience similar to Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing, but with a “cozy” and open-world style to it.
The Singularity 6 team consists of video game industry veterans that were formerly employed in Riot Games and Blizzard Entertainment. Their mission statement is to create a community-based game that you can be a part of.
Palia will follow players gathering materials, gardening, fishing, cooking, and much more as they level up and obtain new abilities and tools to succeed. They can forge relationships with other characters, but there is an emphasis on the social aspect of the game, which encourages playing with others.
All this takes place in a large open-world area, an “enchanting world full of mysteries.”
In Palia, humans are the legendary race, having disappeared thousands of years ago at the height of their grandeur and mastery of magic. Nobody in the modern day knows why.
Until one day humans begin to appear all over the world.
As one of the newly re-emerged humans you’ll have to make yourself a new home in this friendly world, and forge a future for yourself and humanity.
Palia has a deep, evolving story that we plan on telling (with you!) for years to come.
Combat is featured, but is supposedly not mandatory to the game, as it leans more to being a relaxing type of game.
Palia will be available on PC and there is currently no release date for the game.
