Persona 5 Strikers: New Trailer Released

Persona 5 Strikers

Persona 5 Strikers, the sequel for the beloved Persona 5, just received a new trailer dubbed in English.

Persona 5 Strikers happens four months after Persona 5, during the summer vacations and with the return of Morgana. In the game, players will leave Tokyo behind and join the Phantom Thieves of Hearts while they fight against the corruption overtaking six different cities across Japan; Yokohama, Osaka, Kyoto, Okinawa, Sapporo and Sendai.

Not surprisingly, it seems that justice is again against Joker. A ruthless Kyoto detective appears and enlists the help of the Phantom Thieves for investigating the Change of Heart incidents occurring across Japan… otherwise, he’ll arrest Joker.

The player will be able to cook tantalizing regional recipes, help those in need and fight against the Shadows to reveal the cause of the corruption within the Metaverse dungeons.

The new trailer, named Liberate Hearts, show the Phantom Thieves surprised by their unexpected return to the Metaverse. The situation seems to be a consequence of the events from the previous game. And now it seems the Phantom Thieves have to retrieve desires stolen from innocent people rather than stealing from the wicked.

Persona 5 Strikers was already released for Nintendo Switch and Play Station 4 exclusively in Japan in February 2020 under a different name, Persona 5 Scramble. Later, in June, it arrived in South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan on Play Station.

Now, with the worldwide release set to happen on February, 23, the rest of the world can play it too. Persona 5 Strikers will be published for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and also Steam. Pre-orders are already available.
