Roselia, the generation III grass/poison dual-type thorn Pokémon will be the focus of the upcoming Pokémon Go Roselia Community day. If you’ve been planning on catching one – or a lot – to get yourself a Roserade, this is the event for you!
For those of you who have been waiting for a chance to catch yourself some Roselia on Pokémon Go, the upcoming February 2021 Roselia Community Day will be the perfect chance. The community day will be running on the 7th of February from 11:00 AM Local Time to 5:00 PM Local Time the same day.

Now, what are the features of this Pokémon Go Roselia Community day, you may be asking? (Or you may just be looking for the specific details like the Exclusive move or the contents of the community day box, and don’t worry – I’ve got you guys covered too, just skip until after the Shiny family image)
The community day itself will feature the usual significantly increased spawns of the spotlight Pokémon, in this case being Roselia. It’ll also feature Egg hatching distance being reduced to a mere quarter of its usual, so those 2km eggs will become 0.5km eggs for the duration of the event, for example. Any incense you use will also be a 3-hour duration version.
As usual for community days too, you’ll be able to complete event-exclusive timed research – and some of the rewards will feature Sinnoh Stones, for those of you short on that evolution material. And those of you using the snapshot with your Pokémon feature may even find yourself photobombed by Roselia!
While Roselia and the entire budew have all previously been available as shinies – meaning you might have already got some of them in their alternative appearance – the shiny chance for Roselia will be boosted during the community day, allowing you to seek out those shiny Roselia’s or evolve them into shiny Roserade.
It could also be a good chance for those hardcore Roselia fans out there to seek out a shiny 100% stats – a shundo – Roselia, as there will be ample supply of the thorn Pokémon during the event.
For those of you more interested in Budew and Roserade specifically, Budew will be available in 2km eggs collected during the event – so get clearing out those egg spaces if you’re hoping to get yourself a shiny budew!
On to the final evolution of the family, you’ll most likely have to evolve your Roselia’s to get a Roserade, though if you manage to do so during the event – or up to two hours after – you’ll net yourself a Roserade with the movest Weather Ball (fire-type) and Bullet Seed.
Finally, the Community day box will cost a solid 1280 coins – but for that price, it’ll get you all of the following:
- Elite Fast TM
- 4 Incense
- 4 Super Incubators
- 30 Ultra Balls
