It’s that time again. Time for another Pokémon GO community day, this time with Machop! Pokémon GO players can look forward to seeing plenty of Machop around, and the possibility of getting Payback on any Machamp evolved during or shortly after the event!
The Machop Community day will begin on the 16th of January, at 11 AM local time – meaning when it is 11 AM for you, it’ll be live for you. You’ll have until 5 PM local time to catch as many Machop as you want and or need – and you might want to catch a lot of them for a few reasons – not least because Machamp is a pretty solid Pokémon to have available, but also because Machop will be more likely to show up as a Shiny variant too!
Now, whether you ultimately like a green Machop, pictured above, is up to you – I’m sure some players will nickname their shiny Machamps from this event the Hulk, for example – even if you personally don’t like the shiny, getting a few during a community day can give you things to trade-off in the future for other things you do want.
Regardless of the enhanced chance at shinies, the event will also allow you to get the event-exclusive move Payback for any Machamp evolved during or shortly after the event. And if that isn’t enough to get you to hop on, Niantic even threw in tripled catch stardust and triple incense duration – so will you be attending this community day?
