Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, and Pokémon Shining Pearl remakes release dates announced by Nintendo.
Pokémon fans will be able to return to the Sinnoh region in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl on November 19th, 2021. The open-world prequel to Pokémon Diamond/Pearl will be coming in January of 2022.
Generation IV of the Pokémon franchise has been my favourite ever since I was able to raise a little stick turtle into a gigantic earth tortoise that shook the ground with its steps. I like turtles. Released in 2006, Pokémon Diamond/Pearl has been the 5th most popular generation, according to ScreenRant.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is set in the Sinnoh region, in the distant past. It will also stray from the normal Pokémon game formula and will be an open world, action role-playing game. A vast open area is shown in the trailer, one of hopefully many different terrains.
Screenshots and videos show the character, who wears one dope hat if I might add, throwing a pokéball at a Ryhorn, and actually catching one of a pair of Shinx that are just enjoying their day.
With the Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Diamond/Pearl remakes release dates announced, now I’ll be able to start saving up to buy all three. I’m eager to play a new style of Pokémon game and dive into more of the story of the series. The New Pokémon Snap game is a good instalment, and I do very much enjoy taking pictures of hundreds of different pokémon.
But I can tell I’m going to be way happier running around an open world Sinnoh region, throwing pokéballs at a Shinx, or a child-abducting Drifloon. I’ll be equally as happy playing the Pokémon Diamond/Pearl remakes. I’m looking forward to seeing Torterra in a new, smooth 3D model.
