Pokemon Trading Card Game Online Adds Vivid Voltage Booster Packs & Decks

The Pokemon Trading Card Game Online, commonly referred to as PTCGO, has added Vivid Voltage booster packs and decks in conjunction with the physical release of the Vivid Voltage booster packs, decks, Build & Battle Boxes and Elite Trainer Boxes.

Inside of all physical packages of Vivid Voltage, like any other booster packs that have been released, you can find codes for packs and special items such as card sleeves, deck boxes and coins on PTCGO. The Vivid Voltage set is the fourth release that links to the Sword & Shield expansions. Before that, the most recent release was Darkness Ablaze.

The Pokemon featured in the newest booster packs is Pikachu V and Pikachu VMAX. Then Drednaw and Charizard are featured in this set’s new decks. Other Pokemon that appear in the set are newly discovered Zarude V, as well as Orbeetle VMAX and Celebi.

VMAX is the newest form of evolution introduced in Pokemon: Sword & Shield. Giving players incredible HP, abilities and damage but be careful because if your VMAX Pokemon is knocked out, your opponent will gain 3 prize cards.

PTCGO Vivid Voltage Also Adds Trainers, Energy Cards, & More!

In addition to all those new Pokemon, 15 new Trainer cards and 4 new Special Energy cards are being added. There’s also a few more additional Pokemon V and VMAX. Some of the new Trainer cards added are, all with a Super Rare variety art style:

  • Allister
  • Bea
  • Beauty
  • Leon
  • Nessa
  • Opal
  • Pokemon Center Lady

Other Trainer cards added, with no alternate art style include:

  • Cara Liss
  • Drone Rotom
  • Hero’s Medal
  • League Staff
  • Memory Capsule
  • Moomoo Cheese
  • Rocky Helmet
  • Telescopic Sight
  • Wyndon Stadium

With the release of this set, a new series of cards has been announced to be included entitled “Amazing”. Pokemon with this new Amazing art style are Rayquaza, Jirachi and Celebi. You can check out Celebi’s below! These cards have a colourful, paint-like art style that pops ever so slightly beyond the border of the art on the card.
