LCS Pro View Returns: Riot Offers Pro View for 2021 Summer Split

Updated:

With how popular it was once was, the League of Legends community hoped that Pro View would be here to stay. Sadly, it was taken away before we could enjoy it to the full extent. Many thought that would be it for the service, but Riot has confirmed that Pro View will be returning for the LCS Summer Split

In the LCS, Pro View is once again being offered, and this time, for free. While there is a paid version, the free version already has a number of features that makes watching the LCS much more entertaining. Here’s what Pro View will include:

Free Version:

  1. A handpicked selection of two pro player POV streams per game
  2. Autocomplete search to discover content by team, player, or champion
  3. Revamped Multiview player with POV previews.
  4. Enhanced Highlights timeline with instant replays of key moments in the game
  5. Updated real-time statistics with hints for beginners.

Premium Version ($6,99 USD/Month):

  • Access to all aforementioned features in the free version.
  • All 10 pro player POV streams
  • The game’s map stream (if available)
  • Exclusive content, such as VODs with team comms, player portraits, weekly top plays and more.

All these features make picking up the service worth it. Not only do we get a fresh perspective to the game, but we get to see the reactions, movements, pings, everything a player can do inside the game. Not only that, but like in the features above stated, free users get access to two points of views from the players themselves.

Wanted to know how the bot lane synergy was between the ADC and the support? You can do that now! Needed to see how well the chemistry was between the jungler and the midlaner? You can do that too! Wanted to know how the laners would reach to each other’s movements? Say no more!

The real-time statistics also makes learning the game at a pro-level even easier. You get more specific statistics of how the players are doing, which can help beginners set expectations for themselves when they get into the rift themselves.
