PlayStation has released a trailer previewing new and upcoming games for their new PS5 system including Project Athia (PS5 Exclusive for 24 months).
Project Athia (working title) is on PlayStation’s list of new and upcoming games that are exclusive (at least for the time being!) to PS4 and PS5. Project Athia sits alongside the massive lineup including Spider-Man Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7, Deathloop, Demon’s Souls, Ghostwire Tokyo, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Godfall, Sackboy A Big Adventure, and Destruction AllStars.
Many of these titles are also available on PC and other consoles, however there’s a catch. Among other titles, Project Athia will be a PS5 exclusive for 24 months after launch. A bummer for fans of other consoles, but at least Sony is easing up on the reigns a little bit when it comes to PlayStation exclusives as they’ve done with the recent launch of Godfall.
Not much is known about Project Athia at the moment as even the title is not set in stone quite yet. What we do know is that the game will seemingly revolve around a female protagonist rising above *something.* Maybe we’ll see something about it at The Game Awards that premier on Thursday December 10! Given the recent PlayStation trailer coming so soon to The Game Awards, I don’t think it would be out of the question to see something announced.
