The release of the PS5 and Xbox Series X is just a few months away, and we haven’t really seen too much yet. It seems both companies are holding their cards really close to their chest, hoping to grab a peek at the other’s before showing theirs. But we may get a peek at Sony’s soon enough, as the next PS5 event will be happening in June.
Microsoft are planning on holding monthly events to showcase games in the lead up to the console’s release with the next one being a first party event in June. It now appears that Sony will also be holding an event in June to show off upcoming first and third party titles. There’s also a State Of Play expected in August which will likely give us a huge amount of information before the upcoming release date this fall. Its likely we will get a definitive release date and price in August, but right now its just speculation.
The original date for the June event was June 4th, but that appears to be changed now with no official date announced as of yet, but it’s predicted to be June 9th or 10th, instead.
