Last week, we reported that Rayman Redemption, a fan made Rayman 1 Remake, was being released after 3 years of development. Well, today is the day, and it finally here to download for free.
Rayman Redemption is a re-imagining of the original Rayman that was released all the way back in 1995. This game features a lot of new content, including new worlds, levels, minigames and stuff to collect and complete, so its not just a 1:1 remake of the original.
The release is fully compatible with Windows 10 but hasn’t been tested on any other OS, so if you’re running an older version of Windows, MacOS or Linux, you may run into some issues.
You can download the game here; it is probably worth doing sooner rather than later in case Ubisoft shuts this down. But the game has been in development for 3 years and now released without Ubisoft stepping in, so perhaps they will let this slide.
