Recently, World of Warcraft Streamer Byron Bernstein sadly passed away. As tribute, Blizzard have now added a Reckful Rogue Trainer NPC to the game.
Reckful’s World of Warcraft legacy is truly incredible, even with his 2014 permaban. He was the highest-ranked PvP Player in World of Warcraft for six consecutive seasons, from 2003 through to 2009. On top of this, he also won several prominent tournaments. Many have described him as one of the most genuinely likeable players to come from the MMO.
It’s understandable, then, that his death hit the community hard. However, Blizzard has made an effort to pay tribute through the very game he was so successful at. He has been immortalized through a Rogue Trainer NPC.
Reckful Rogue Trainer NPC Can Be Found At Cathedral Of Light
The Cathedral of Light is the same location that in-game tributes were held, and players mourned, when news of his death broke. In addition to this, the Reckful NPC also has tailored dialogue that relates to the man’s playstyle. If you interact with him, he will say…
“I don’t train assassination Rogues.”
This is a reference to his own playstyle in World of Warcraft and his tremendous skills while playing through the Wrath of the Lich King expansion.
