Grand Theft Auto developers Rockstar Games have just announced a new paid subscription service, specifically for GTA Online.
Don’t worry; it’s not a requirement to play the game. However, hardcore fans might find it helpful as it grants exclusive benefits not found anywhere else. Here’s what to expect from Rockstar’s GTA+ paid subscription service.

How much is a GTA+ Paid subscription for GTA Online?
According to Rockstar Games, the new GTA+ paid subscription costs $5.99 per month. Yes, that’s real money, not in-game.
While the new membership isn’t required to play, it’ll give exclusive benefits to anyone willing to pay the premium.
What are the benefits of paying for a GTA+ membership?
Firstly, a GTA+ membership gets players a recurring GTA$500,000 monthly direct deposit into their Maze Bank account. Additionally, properties in and around Los Santos become available that “unlock gameplay updates you may have missed out on.”
Finally, special vehicle upgrades, member-only discounts, GTA$ and RP bonuses, and more are available each month. The first month of membership is open from March 29, 2022, until April 27, 2022.
Here are the benefits members will receive between those dates:
GTA$500,000 in your Maze Bank account
The Principe Deveste Eight and the Hao’s Special Works upgrade for it, before it’s available to the public. The HSW Orange Trip and HSW CMYK Glitch Liveries are also included.
The Auto Shop in La Mesa, which introduced gameplay updates from Los Santos Tuners. Current Auto Shop owners can relocate to La Mesa for free.
Waived LS Car Meet Membership fees. Current members will be reimbursed GTA$50,000 during the event period.
Yacht owners can upgrade to the Aquarius Super Yacht at no additional cost.
The Gusset Frog Tee and Broker Prolaps Basketball Top and Shorts in your wardrobe.
The Conveyor Livery for the Mammoth Avenger, HVY APC, and TM-02 Khanjali
A selection of free paints and emblems for the Auto Shop
3X GTA$ and RP on Hao’s Special Works Race Series
2X Car Meet Rep on the Street Race Series
That’s not all; GTA+ members also have access to unique GTA+ Shark Cards. These provide bonus cash from the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store. GTA+ members will get new, exclusive rewards every month.
GTA+ members can also claim and enjoy the many benefits that Rockstar says are provided “in addition to our regular GTA Online events, which will continue as normal for all players.”
You’re not locked in to GTA+ long term
According to Rockstar Games, players can cancel their membership at any time. Starting on March 29, pay $5.99 to claim the benefits, then canceling will stop renewal for the next month. That’s good news for anyone who is unsure about the service but wishes to try it out for a mere $6. Locking in for a year or more for a subscription-like this would likely turn away many customers.
