Selfmade is the Reason: Drama with Ex-FNATIC Jungler

Updated:

Before anything, let’s get my terrible joke out of the way. Selfmade is the reason I’m writing this article. Perfect! Now, with all the roster changes going on right now, drama should not have been surprising. Yet, one tweet from the @LEC_Wooloo Twitter account pretty much started a whole mob, confusing both players, and fans.

Now, if you don’t know who the LEC Wooloo is, well, nobody really does. All we know is that the Twitter account gets insider information regarding potential roster moves. While not officially recognized, a handful of his tweets came true, one of which involved Bwipo’s move to the jungle, and Selfmade moving to Vitality.

Recently, the move was confirmed by FNATIC in their Thank You video for the jungler, and in Vitality’s announcement video for their new roster. Many fans already questioned the move, but in a recent tweet by LEC Wooloo, questions turned into drama.

In the tweet, it was alleged that Nisqy, Upset, and Hylissang no longer wanted to play with Selfmade. It was also said that Selfmade flamed Nemesis, FNATIC’s ex-mid laner before Nisqy, after their loss to TOP Esports in Worlds 2020. Once again, allegedly everybody in FNATIC, management included, asked Bwipo to jungle instead, which he said yes to. This essentially forced Selfmade out of the jungle role for the organization.

The tweet left many fans wondering whether the situation stated was indeed true. However, Bwipo put out a tweet regarding the allegations, which may have put the allegations to rest.

On the other hand, the jungler in question has taken a much more light-hearted approach to the allegations. He has even replied to the tweet itself, tagging Nemesis, who responded.

Meanwhile, another tweet of his has produced potentially one of the greatest memes during this roster change period. The tweet involved the legendary AD Carry Rekkles and Selfmade’s supposed involvement in why he left FNATIC.

The League community has started making their own tweets with the meme, going from LEC related situations to those even outside it. From players to journalists, to fans, to even the organizations’ Twitter accounts, everybody has blamed Selfmade for something.

That being said, whether the situation described in LEC Wooloo’s tweet is true or not is to be decided. With Bwipo’s tweet and Nisqy saying he had no issues with Selfmade, it’s likely the situation isn’t true at all. However, the tweet gave birth to one of the greatest memes to come from the LEC. So if something ever goes wrong in life, just remember. Selfmade is the reason.
