Korean organization T1 has announced the addition of Tyler ‘skadoodle’ Latham to their Valorant squad. The former CS:GO pro and Major winner completes their roster. The AWP’er retired from competitive CS back in 2018.
Skadoodle joins his former iBuypower teammates Braxton ‘swag’ Pierce and Keven ‘AZK’ Larivière on the lineup. He now enters a new phase in his career, competing in Riot’s new first-person shooter. “Beyond excited to compete again,” Skadoodle said. “I’m very thankful for the opportunity and to pursue my passion once again makes me incredibly happy.”
Skadoodle had a successful run in the Valorant beta, winning the 100 Thieves invitational. Despite being a ‘less competitive’ event, it’s an indication that skadoodle made a successful transition to the new game.
SKadoodle is just one of many (former) CS pro’s moving to Valorant. But he is the first Major winner to make the transition.
