Sony Reveals 11 Indie Games for PlayStation Talents

Sony’s Spain division has revealed 11 indie titles as part of their PlayStation Talents program. The program is designed to support and promote video game development in the Spain. The featured games are fully developed in Spain but sold globally.

Clid the Snail

Clid The Snail is a double stick shooter about a grumpy snail armed to the teeth who ends up joining a gang of outcasts formed by a shy hedgehog, a shaman turtle, a mute bat, a ninja frog and a one-eyed chameleon. Alongside this strange group Clid will discover new lands, fight hundreds of bugs and monsters in a story about family, trust and treason.

Inner Ashes

A narrative adventure in which you play as Henry, an Alzheimer’s disease forest agent who must take an introspective journey to his own mind to discover the secrets of his past.

Corbid! A Colorful Adventure

A 3D cartoon genre puzzle, platformer and shooter game where the player will play as Corbid to be the new champion using his color skills to beat their enemies.

Do Not Open

A PlayStation VR survival horror video game inspired in the mechanics of actual escape rooms. The player wakes up in their house, but suddenly they realize it has changed and it is closed. The house will change as the game progresses, which is also an analogy of what is happening inside the protagonist’s head.

Lethal Honor: Essence

A strategic and challenging action-adventure. The player will fight hand-to-hand and will have a wide variety of skills. You will be an agent for Lethal Honor, an organization that investigates and destroys paranormal events around the world.

Itadaki Smash

Katsu is the owner of the best restaurant in the city, however the Yakuza is determined to end his business and for this he throws a curse on all the food transforming it into terrible demons. Only Katsu and his friends can stop them.

Operation Highjump

A 2D action and run genre video game based on the mysterious legends of World War II that will reach the hearts of nostalgic gamers. This title will bring the gameplay of the classics closer to new players, creating a community, around the incredible universe of OH, to grow and enjoy together.

Summer in Mara

Take care of your own island and explore the ocean in this summer adventure. Summer in Mara mix farming, crafting and exploring mechanics in a tropical archipelago with a colorful style and a strong narrative.

The Five Covens

An adventure and puzzle game set in a medieval fantasy world. Winking at classic 3D adventure games from the first generations, but with a visual approach and gameplay according to current standards, this game is based on the folklore of witchcraft presents an adventure in which the player must escape from a castle by overcoming all their dungeons.

The Library Of Babel

A dark epic adventure full of platforming, stealth and investigation. Get on an adventure through the most mysterious corners of the jungles of future Mesopotamia.

Walls of Lies

A 2.5D game which mix genres as different as the Metroidvania and Brawlers and also has rogue-like overtones. Players (1-4) will select a character, each with their own story, to get out of the dungeon alive. In each level, the player will encounter fierce enemies, including other players. Once the exit is reached or the time limit has expired, the players will face each other in epic arenas full of platforms and traps.
