Spider-Man Remastered has brought three new suits to Insomniac’s webslinging title. They were available on launch on the PS5 and have now been included in an update for PS4 versions of the game!
Insomniac really know how to give the fans what they want. After so much campaigning, and complaining, they added the Raimi Suit to Spider-Man… Now, fans have three more suits to look forward to.
Originally only available in Spider-Man Remastered on the PS5, the three new suits are now available for players on the PS4 thanks to a recent update.
This update adds the Amazing Suit, the Arachnid Rider Suit, and the Armoured Advanced Suit.
Spider-Man Remastered New Suits
The first of the three new suits available for Spider-Man Remastered is based on Andrew Garfield’s Amazing Spider-Man.
Andrew Garfield made his debut as Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man in 2012 with this controversially orange-lensed suit.
The second suit is the Arachnid Rider suit. It has an exaggerated colour-scheme and texture similar to the Animated Suit, or the Spider-Verse suit. It may look a little out of place, but on the PS5 it really is stunning.
This suit was designed by Dave Rapoza who admitted inspiration from both Power Rangers and Kamen Rider when asked on Twitter. Rapoza added that Insomniac gave him free reign in his design, undoubtedly a good thing when you look at this result!
The third new suit for Spider-Man Remastered is the Armoured Advanced Suit. This suit takes inspiration from the Insomniac-original Advanced Suit, with the White Spider, and transforms it into their very-own Armoured variant.
The additional graphical enhancements on the PS4 and the ray-tracing features of Spider-Man Remastered on the PS5 make this suit truly beautiful to play with.
