Star Citizen begins Invictus Launch Week with the Free Fly event. This makes Star Citizen free to play for the rest of the month!
Star Citizen is Cloud Imperium Games’ expansive multiplayer starpilot simulator. It features detailed combat and trading systems, all set in The Persistent Universe. It’s sandbox-like gameplay has proven popular with players. It’s similar to No Man’s Sky and Elite: Dangerous, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. It’s surrounded with controversy, with Crytek and Cloud Imperium Games reaching a settlement earlier this year after a 2-year lawsuit.
Still, Star Citizen is a game worth trying, and now you can.
Invictus Launch Week is beginning in Star Citizen, and alongside it, they’re offering players a chance to play the title for free through the Free Fly event.
“ Invictus Launch Week, also commonly known as Fleet Week, is the period between Emancipation Day and Armistice Day that marks the beginning of the new recruitment year for the UEE Navy.”
