Despite the lack of a release date, Stardew Valley 1.5 Update details have been revealed. A Beach Farm is coming alongside a number of advanced game options. Here’s all we know…
Stardew Valley is one of those games that is, to put it plainly, incredible. Whether it’s your cup of tea, or not, the title has a hugely dedicated fan-base and is developed primarily by one bloke!
I think that’s probably the incredible part. Eric Barone, aka ConcernedApe, has been working on the Stardew Valley 1.5 Update for almost a year now. It seems as if he began work on it as soon as 1.4 launched. Finally, we have some details on what to expect in the upcoming update.
Stardew Valley 1.5 Update Adds Beach Farming
This is the big news of the update for most; Stardew Valley is getting a Beach Farm. Below are a few details Barone shared regarding the new locale…
“Good foraging and fishing,. and tons of open space… Sometimes, supply crates wash up on shore. However, sprinklers don’t work in the sandy soil.”
In addition to this, a number of new game options are being added in an effort to keep the game fresh for seasoned players. You can change the bundles you use for restoring the Community Centre, for example. Or, you can alter Monster spawns if you’re looking for less/ more of a challenge.
Barone has been hinting at the Stardew Valley 1.5 Update for a little while now and it’s fantastic news to see that it may be close (ish)! Other features that are on the way is split-screen co-op, a new banana tree, and moving your bed.
They don’t seem like massive changes, but fans of the game are looking forward to it!
