Popular Super Mario modder, Kaze Emanuar, has just released another Super Mario 64 mod recently called “Super Mario 64 Land”. This new game is a complete overhaul mod of Super Mario 64 which includes 32 new levels, new power ups, new items, new bosses and new music.
New items include the Cat suit from Super Mario 3D World
and the Super Leaf suit from Super Mario 3, as well as others and
also includes a whole host of new characters such as King Goomba. The
trailer, which currently has over 200,000 views on YouTube, shows off
many of the new exciting levels, some of which have clearly been
inspired by previous Super Mario games and even includes a boss
battle with, what looks like, Master Hand from the Super Smash Bros
series of games.
As we just mentioned though, this is a mod rather than a
stand-alone game meaning you’ll need a Rom of Super Mario 64 and an
emulator to run it such as Project 64. If you would like to play this
mod you can follow the instructions in Kaze’s trailer video, it only
takes a few minutes to do.
Here is a trailer for the new mod, we don’t know if this
will ever be shut down by Nintendo, so if you want to play it, we
suggest you act fast and download it just in case!
Kaze has also created other fantastic mods such as an online version of Super Mario 64 and he even added Bowsette into Super Mario 64. The trailer for Mario 64 Online has been taken down so its likely that mod was shut down, so be quick if you want to play Super Mario 64 Land!
