Cloud9 have announced TenZ as their first official player for Riot Games’ Valorant.
Yesterday, eSports organization Cloud9 posted a tweet with a promotional teaser regarding their first dedicated Valorant player:
The tweet contained a teaser clip and a link to Cloud9’s official YouTube channel which has the full reveal. Check it out below:
Tyson “TenZ” Ngo is Cloud9’s first Valorant player.
Currently signed to Cloud9 as a CS:GO player, TenZ is switching his focus to Valorant. Additionally, he streams on Twitch regularly, representing Cloud9 as a content creator, too. Valorant is currently in its closed beta, although I would expect more announcements to come in the following weeks.
This announcement has come just as the Valorant eSports scene is starting to hot up! Recently, Ninjas In Pyjamas have announced a full Valorant roster featuring their Paladins World Champion squad.
As a result of the growing talk of Valorant’s eSports scene, 100 Thieves have also announced an invitational tournament that is due to start tomorrow. The tournament will feature some of the biggest creators in the world captaining 8 teams.
