The Best Mushroom Biome Seeds in Minecraft

The Mushroom island biome is one of the rarest areas that can spawn in a Minecraft world. If you want to explore one without spending hours searching, you’re probably going to need to use a specific world seed.

With that in mind, here are five of the best world seeds for finding Mushroom biomes in Minecraft 1.19.

5. Mushrooms at Spawn

Seed: 877076027430404096

Mushroom island coordinates: -61, 81

It’s impossible for a player to spawn within a Mushroom biome. This seed does the next best thing – spawning you right next to one. From the moment you spawn in, you’ll be within seeing distance of a Mushroom island. Simply head over to the northern outcropping of the island you’re on to find the Mushroom biome in the distance.

Once you head over there, you’ll find that this Mushroom biome is much larger than normal, at over 1000 blocks wide

Since the island is so large, you’ll never run out of mushroom-related resources while living in this world. It’s also so close to the shore that you can easily build a bridge to transport items from the mainland. This makes the seed an ideal choice if you’re looking to create a survival base on a Mushroom island.

4. Mushrooms and Jungles

Seed: 7511965369591379920

Mushroom island coordinates: 710, 20

This is another seed that spawns you very close to a Mushroom biome. The key difference is where you actually spawn – in a Jungle biome. Having a Jungle and a Mushroom island so close together means you can combine the safety of a Mushroom biome and the resources of a Jungle biome to create an easy survival experience for yourself.

The Jungle biome you spawn in is also unique, itself being on its own island

This adds to the archipelago feel of the seed and makes for a unique survival experience as you forage for resources and build structures in the sea that separates the two biomes.

3. Mushrooms and Monuments

Seed: 7913039298569672318

Mushroom island coordinates: -290, -192

This seed is unique in that it doesn’t just offer a Mushroom biome, instead also gives you access to multiple ocean monuments, rare structures that spawn at the bottom of Deep Ocean biomes.

There are at least four ocean monuments within close proximity to the main island, each of them full of Guardians and sponge blocks. These monuments are the only places where you can get sponge blocks in the entire game, so having many around is incredibly valuable.

You can find the Mushroom island across the sea from the seed’s spawn point. Build yourself a boat and head out across the water to quickly find your destination.

2. Mushrooms and Mine Shafts

Seed: -8702722511868283981

Main Mushroom island coordinates: -1100, -200

This seed is home to three enormous Mushroom biomes, with the largest being almost 1100 blocks wide. The main attraction of this seed, though, is what’s underneath the plains of the largest island.

Beneath this seed’s biggest Mushroom island sits an enormous cave system that includes a mine shaft.

Mine shafts are rare structures, spawning randomly underground. They’re usually incredibly dangerous, full of hostile mobs. Since no hostile mobs can spawn on Mushroom islands, this cave system is a great way to explore a mine shaft safely.

The combination of the huge landmass and large cave system makes this Mushroom island a great place to call home. Consider picking this seed to get a headstart on a unique Mushroom-themed survival base.

1. Mushrooms and Coral

Seed: 137000608

Mushroom island coordinates: 210, -411

This seed sees a Mushroom biome meet an enormous coral reef, giving you one of the most amazing landscapes that you can find in Minecraft 1.19.

While the Mushroom island is out of sight from spawn, you’ll have a relatively short journey to get there. The trip across the ocean is so short that you could even swim there if you decide to go without a boat.

This seed is also home to the jungle temple

This structure appears in different locations, depending on which version of Minecraft you’re playing. The jungle temple’s coordinates are as follows:

  • Java Edition: 568, -936
  • Bedrock Edition: 1029, -715
