The Crown Tundra: Electabuzz, Electivire Locations In Sword & Shield

It’s finally here! There’s a lot of content included in the Pokémon Sword & Shield DLC, The Crown Tundra. Electabuzz and Electivire are just some of the new Pokémon that can be found in-game.

The Crown Tundra has added several popular Pokémon evolution lines to Sword & Shield, offering trainers a new load of Pokémon to chase in order to fill up their Pokédex. Two of these are Electabuzz and Electivire, the two evolutions that come from Elekid.

Traditionally, players can evolve Elekid into Electabuzz at around level 30. However, evolving again into Electivire can only be done through a trade. Electabuzz also needs to be holding an Electirizer. This isn’t ideal, at the best of times, and often trade-only evolutions often prove controversial. However, now, The Crown Tundra is changing that.

Electabuzz, when looking in the right place, is a fairly common spawn while Electivire will appear as a Special Overworld Encounter at some locations.

Please Note: These Pokémon will only appear during a Thunderstorm.

Both Pokémon can be found in a number of locations, both in the wild and through Raids. Below, I’ll list the locations of both of these. However, it’s worth noting that they will only appear during an in-game Thunderstorm.

Wild – Giant’s Bed, Old Cemetary, Giant’s Foot, Frigid Sea, Three-Point Pass, Ballimere Lake.

Raids – Frostpoint Field, Giant’s Bed, Frigid Sea, Three-Point Pass, Ballimere Lake, Dynamax Adventures.

Electivire locations;
