One profession, the Secret Agent Career, requires you to dedicate a fair amount of time to one particular task, and this guide will show you how to Browse Intelligence in The Sims 4.
How to become a secret agent
The Secret Agent Career is one of ten careers in The Sims 4, combining elements of the Law Enforcement Career from previous games with some new material.
The preferred mood for a Secret Agent is focused, as both the Diamond Agent Branch and the Villain Branch will want your full attention.
Diamond Agent Branch
The Diamond Agent Branch provides you with the Romance Interactions daily task, which requires you to flirt with your significant other or whoever you want in town.
This branch’s recommended emotion is still focused, however, and showing up to work in a flirtatious mood may hinder your performance.
Working in this branch is financially beneficial, however, you will need to dedicate to three, 15-hour shifts a week.
Villain Branch
The Villain Branch, on the other hand, deals in charisma, where your daily task is to reach level 6 by the end of the branch.
This branch will require you to build on your Mischief skill, and it is recommended that you begin flexing this muscle as soon as you can.
Within the Villain Branch, you will be able to achieve an 11th level and it has more or less the same working hours as the Diamond Agent Branch, except the three longer days are substituted with five shorter days.
The Browse Intelligence Database rewards you with two, long focused moodlets that last a day, and if you want extra brownie points at work, browsing Simipedia before your shift is beneficial.
As a secret agent, your daily tasks will change between Browse Intelligence and Friendly Interactions.
You will require both logic and charisma in this career to utilize these tasks to get a promotion.
What is Browse Intelligence?
Browse Intelligence is just one of the daily tasks involved in the Secret Agent Career when you begin as an Agency Clerk. It is rather time-consuming from the get-go, therefore time management is a must.
It is also recommended that you buy the cheapest desk and chair under the buy menu ‘Electronics’ as soon as you can, as upgrades are not too far away as you progress through your career.
Browse Intelligence must be done for two hours per day, which is a requirement for a promotion.
How to Browse Intelligence in The Sims 4
In order to Browse Intelligence, all you need to do is to go to your computer and find the ‘Browse Intelligence’ option under the ‘Web.’
You will see the task highlighted as a career icon (identified by a watch symbol), however, this will not appear if you use an iPad. You must use a computer to Browse Intelligence.
Once you’ve performed the task once, all you need to do is maintain it for two hours every day and a Secret Agent promotion will be in your immediate future.
