Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 Remastered is here, bringing back all of the 90’s nostalgia in glorious HD. The first 2 games have been accurately recreated, and it is one of the most fun gaming experiences of 2020. If you missed it, be sure to read our review of Tony Hawk’s 1 + 2 Remastered here.

Each of the 17 levels in the game (minus the Competition levels) has 10 challenges to complete as well as collecting Stat Points and the Vicarious Visions Logo. Here is a guide for completing every challenge and grabbing every collectable for the first level of the game, Warehouse.

The challenges for the Warehouse are as follows:

Score Challenges

To complete these, you need to earn a total of 100,000 points in a single run to unlock the Sick Score challenge. In addition to the score challenges, there is also a combo challenge for each level. The Warehouse combo challenge is to get 7,500 points in a single combo.

Collect S-K-A-T-E

Dotted around each level are the letters to spell SKATE. These must be completed in a single run to complete the challenge. Here are the locations for the Warehouse level:

Warehouse SKATE S

Next to the large rail where you complete the “50-50 The Big Rail Gap” challenge are 2 ramps. In the middle of the ramps is the first letter, S. Either Ollie and grab or jump across the ramps to reach it.

Warehouse SKATE K

On the far end of the level on the right hand side is a quarter pipe. Above it is the K. Ride up the quarter pipe and Ollie to grab it. It is just right of the Big Rail Gap, and if you complete the grind on the rail, you will land fairly lined up to grab this.

Warehouse SKATE A

Directly in front of the K letter is a burnt out car with some ramps around it. The A is above it; ride up the ramps and Ollie to grab it.

Warehouse SKATE T

Above the large half pipe is the letter T. To grab it, just Ollie over the half pipe like you do to complete the Secret Tape challenge.

Warehouse Skate E

Finally, the letter E. To find it, ride down the slope at the start of the level and immediately turn left when getting to the bottom. If you double back on yourself, you will see a quarter pipe. Ride up it and hold forward to get to the level above and the E is just near the middle of the next level. Once collected, that is the Collect SKATE challenge done for the Warehouse.

Collect 5 Hydrants

Like SKATE, there are 5 Hydrants dotted around the level. Here are their locations:

Warehouse Hydrant 1

The first Hydrant is directly behind you as the level starts. Rather than skating down the slope just turn around and it is above the quarter pipe.

Warehouse Hydrant 2

In between the 2 slopes is a quarter pipe. The second Hydrant is on the pipe.

Warehouse Hydrant 3

Turn left and go up where the E is in the SKATE challenge, the next Hydrant is on a quarter pipe on that level.

Warehouse Hydrant 4

In front of the Big Rail Gap is another quarter pipe, above it is the 4th Hydrant. This is also directly in front of the third one.

Warehouse Hydrant 5

Finally, in the right hand corner, to the right of where the K is in the SKATE challenge, is the fifth Hydrant. Grab that and the Collect 5 Hydrants challenge is done.

Smash The Boxes

Once again, there are 5 boxes that need to be smashed to complete the challenge. Here are the locations:

Warehouse Smash The Boxes 1

As soon as the level begins, immediately turn right before moving, and the first set of boxes are on the right hand side against the wall.

Warehouse smash the boxes 2

The second lot of boxes are straight in front of the Big Rail Gap rail and to the left of the K in the SKATE challenge. Go up the quarter pipe and hold forward to land on top of it rather than go up the pipe to smash the second box.

Warehouse smash the boxes 3

On the other side of the giant half pipe, from the side you start the level on, is a ledge against the right hand wall. The third set of boxes are stacked on the ledge.

Warehouse smash the boxes 4

On the opposite side to the third set, near the Big Rail Gap, is another ledge. Ollie on top of it and smash the fourth set of boxes.

Warehouse smash the boxes 5

Finally, on top of the quarter pipe where the E is in the SKATE challenge, on the left hand side of the Warehouse, is the final set. Smash these boxes and the Smash The Boxes challenge for the Warehouse is complete.

50-50 The Big Rail Gap

50-50 the big rail gap

The Big Rail Gap can be found near the centre of the level. There is a long metal railing and players need to 50-50 across a good majority of the Big Rail Gap for the gap to complete. One the gap appears in the combo at the bottom of the screen, end the combo to complete the challenge. But be careful, if you bail after completing it, then you will need to do it again. See the image above on how to do it and where the rail is.

Ollie A Channel Gap

Ollie a Channel Gap

The channels it is referring to are the slopes that the player skates down upon beginning the level. At either side of them are quarter pipes. To complete it, perform an Ollie from one of the quarter pipes to another. You will know you’ve done it because the Ollie A Channel Gap gap will appear in your combo at the bottom of the screen in blue letters.

Collect The Secret Tape

Warehouse Secret Tape Guide

When starting the Warehouse level, immediately go right and go down the right hand slope, building as much speed as possible. Ollie over the half pipe and you should land in the box. Simply ride into the Secret Tape to collect it. The Warehouse Secret Tape is the easiest tape to find in THPS 1, they get much harder to find and collect in upcoming levels.

Stat Point Locations

Being the game’s first level, the locations of these are pretty straightforward, although this one may be tricky to acquire for newer players. To grab it, players need to head immediately right upon starting and crash through the door. The Stat Point is against the wall on the left hand side, but players may be unable to reach it by simply jumping. Instead, use the wall ride move, which can be done by jumping alongside the wall and pressing the grind button. While wall riding, simply ollie and grab the Stat Point.

After earning the first point, players will be in the heart of the Warehouse level. Near the centre is a large rail, and on the far end is a Stat Point. Grind along the rail and then ollie as you approach the Stat Point to grab it.

Vicarious Visions Logo

Warehouse Vicarious Visions Logo Guide

Immediately upon starting the run, go right like you’re going for the Secret Tape. You should notice a floating V logo on the left hand wall of the slope. To grab it you’re going to need to Wallride and then Ollie to reach it.

To Wallride you need to use the grind button while performing an Ollie at around a 30-45 degree angle towards the wall. Once you do that the Vicarious Visions Logo for the Warehouse level is done, only 16 more to go.

It is quite confusing to explain but check out the YouTube video below to see how it is done.

Gap List

Here are the list of Gaps in the Warehouse level:

CHANNEL GAPAt the start of the level, you go down a roll-in. At the end of the roll-in, on either side there is a quarter pipe. Jump from one quarter pipe, across the roll-in, and land on the other quarter pipe.
FACE PLANTGo to the area where you got to the letter ‘E’ is in career mode. What you have to do is launch from the ramp, and then fly all the way over to that wall and crash into it. It helps if you do a wall ride so you can get the distance.
KICKER 2 LEDGESomewhere around the warehouse level you should find two small wooden ramps facing each other with a small gap between them. Jump from the kicker ramp to the small ledge.
KICKER GAPSomewhere around the warehouse level you should find two small wooden ramps facing each other with a small gap between them. To do this gap, simply jump from one ramp to the other.
OVER THE PIPEJump over the top of the half pipe.
SECRET ROOMThere is a room with glass walls above the half pipe, where the Secret Tape is located. For this gap, jump through the room and out the other side without touching the floor, and you will get the Secret Room gap. You cannot do this gap without jumping over the half pipe, so it counts the two gaps together.
TAXI GAPGet a lot of speed from the quarter pipe that goes across the back of the warehouse, and then jump from the taxi all the way into the half pipe.
BIG RAILSomewhere in the level is a big green rail with a curve in it. Grind the whole rail to get the ‘Big Rail’ gap. This is a pretty easy gap, but can get you a lot of points depending on what tricks you do on it.
DECK 2 RAILWork your way around the level until you find the deck near the green rail. Get a lot of speed from the quarter pipe, and then jump from the deck to the rail.
HIGH RAILAbove the quarter pipe that lines the back of the warehouse is a high rail on the wall. I used a fast plant to get up here, but it can be done just by jumping onto it. You need to grind the whole rail for this gap.
HOLY SHI…A very difficult gap. Grind the whole quarterpipe at the back of the warehouse.
MONSTER GRINDTo get this gap, grind along the high rail, jump onto the quarter pipe and grind along that, and then jump onto the green rail.
TAXI 2 RAILJump from the taxi, all the way over to the green rail where you get the Big Rail gap.
TRANSITION GRINDGo to the area where you got to the letter ‘E’ is in career mode. What you have to do is launch from the quarter pipe, and then fly all the way over to a grind on the ramp near the wall.
