Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Will Require a $10 Upgrade for Next-Gen Consoles

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1-2

Activision announced today that the brilliant remaster of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is coming to next-gen consoles on March 26. Nintendo Switch users will also get a chance to play the game sometime this year, with no official date given.

Players who own the base version of the game for PS4 and Xbox One will have to purchase the “Cross-Gen Deluxe Bundle” for $10 if they want to play on the next-gen consoles. While players with the Digital Deluxe version will get the upgrade at no extra cost, except for those located in Japan.

Unfortunately, players who own a physical disk won’t be able to upgrade to the next-gen consoles.

The next-gen consoles will be able to run Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 at 4K 60FPS with options for 120FPS at 1080P. While the Nintendo Switch will be limited to 1440P upscaled to 4K.

Save data can be transferred if you’re using the same line of consoles. So if you’ve switched from PlayStation to Xbox or vice versa you won’t be able to move your save data.

The game will make use of the PS5’s DualSense haptic feedback and 3D audio.
