It is not uncommon for Easter Eggs in video games to go unnoticed for many years. A hidden Happy Birthday message to an employee’s wife in Halo 3 took 7 years to be discovered. For just over 4 years, a nod to The Last Of Us hidden deep in Uncharted 4 went unnoticed.
Twitter User GermanStranfs found the Easter Egg in the early underwater section where they found a Clicker. The Naughty Dog dev responsible for the Easter Egg, environmental artist Anthony Vaccaro, has confirmed the Easter Egg and noted that this is the first time he’s seen anyone show off the find.
The latest entry in the Uncharted series, Uncharted 4, is available now on Playstation 4, and the upcoming The Last Of Us: Part 2 launches on June 19th, also on Playstation 4.
