On Tuesday, Insomniac Games, developers of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, tweeted that a new update for the game is available now that adds a brand new suit for all players and an exclusive graphical update for PS5 owners.
The new outfit called the Advanced Tech Suit, is available for both PS4 and PS5 owners of the game. The suit itself is glossy and shiny, enhancing the in-universe futuristic features that the suit boasts.
With all of the suits that appear in both Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales, this suit feels more realistic and believable than some others in both games. It still features the iconic black and red look that is iconic for Miles, putting it right at home with all of the other outfits Miles can wear.
The update also includes various bug fixes for both PS4 and PS5. What these fixes are is unclear as Insomniac did not post a patch list for the update.
However, a part of the update that is clear is, for PS5 players, realistic muscle deformation.
Insomniac, in the tweet announcing the update, made it clear that the feature is only for some of the suits and not all. This makes sense as some of Mile’s outfits have armour or graphical styles that would not show muscle movements, such as the Into the Spider-Verse and the Animated suit.
This also gives PS5 players a new excuse to jump back into the game, so they can find out for themselves what suits the feature works with and how it looks in action.
Hopefully, this is not the last of free suits being added to Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Marvel’s Spider-Man received multiple suits through free updates since its release.
