The Launch Date For Riot Games’ Valorant Was Announced Via Youtube
Executive Producer, Anna Donlon, and Valorant Game Director, Joe Ziegler, joined one another in making the announcement. You can watch that below:
In a press release regarding the Valorant release date, both Ziegler and Donlon have commented on the excitement around the game and its launch.
Donlon says: “our goal has always been to bring Valorant to as much of the world as possible as soon as possible”. This excitement is being matched with a lengthy commitment, as Donlon followed on with: “the team looks forward to starting our decades-long commitment to servicing the global Valorant community”. This is a huge claim to make this early, but Valorant is proving extremely popular already. It broke Twitch’s concurrent viewing record, hitting 1.7 million when the beta launched in April. Crazy, right?
Ziegler also chimes in, commenting that the Valorant team have “been wanting to get you this game to help brighten these tough times”. It’s a nice thought and most-likely an accurate one.
Valorant is going to include a lot more content on release.
At launch, Valorant will reportedly be getting an 11th agent alongside a new game mode and a new map. There’s also going to be a whole lot more content that fans can look forward to discovering on the Valorant release date.
