Call of Duty: Vanguard has officially arrived, and players are starting to dive into a variety of game modes. There has been a lot of buzz about the game and its features, and fans are always hungry for more. While the Vanguard launch took place last week only, players are always wondering how to unlock Mastery Camos in Vanguard Zombies.
Weapon camouflage is usually termed as Camos in the Call of Duty series. It allows players to let their weapons blend with the environment. However, it has become more of an achievement thing lately for the players as they use it to show off their weapons and the grind behind them to achieve it.
Golden Viper, Plague Diamond, and Dark Aether are the three Mastery Camos that are obtainable in Vanguard’s Zombies mode. With that in mind, here’s how to unlock the Mastery Camos in Call of Duty Vanguard Zombies.

How To Unlock Golden Viper Camo in Vanguard Zombies
Obtaining the Golden Viper Camo is a rather simple process. In Zombies, each weapon has ten camos that can be unlocked by completing challenges. Once a player has completed all ten Camo challenges, the player receives the Golden Viper Camo for the weapon.
The thing to keep in mind is that these ten challenges must be completed in the Vanguard Zombies mode only. The kills obtained in the game’s multiplayer mode will not count towards these Vanguard Camo challenges.
How To Unlock Plague Diamond Camo in Vanguard Zombies
It is a bit more challenging to unlock the Plague Diamond camo for your weapon of choice. To add this to a gun, players need to unlock the Golden Viper Camo on every weapon for that class.
In other words, if a player wants to rock the Plague Diamond Camo on their PPSH-14, they will have to unlock Golden Viper Camo for all the SMGs in the game.
How To Unlock Dark Aether Camo in Vanguard Zombies
Dark Aether has a new green look this year, and it’s the ultimate symbol of grind and commitment among Zombies players. It marks a return after being in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War for a year, where the skin became one of the community’s most beloved.
Players will need to unlock Plague Diamond in every weapon class available to get their hands on Dark Aether Camo. As a result, they will have to abandon the SMGs and Assault Rifles in favor of Launchers, Secondary Weapons, and Shotguns.
Even though the Vanguard Zombies mode came out with the game during the launch, players are waiting eagerly for the Main Quest to be added into the game. With three Mastery Camos for Vanguard Zombies, players are hoping to be busy till the time Season One launches for the game.
Treyarch, the developer of the Zombies mode, recently released a roadmap for the Zombies in Vanguard. Players will need to be patient for the Main Quest’s addition into the game post Season One launch.
