According to Raven Software, the DMR, Diamattis, and Mac-10 will be getting a Warzone nerf in a coming update. Here’s all we know about it…
It’s the news everyone’s been waiting to hear. Most people were skeptical of the Warzone integration, given the fact that Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare run on different game engines… I admit, we were too. As it turns out, there was kind of a good reason for that?
The DMR 14, Diamattis, and Mac 10 have been the cause of a lot of stress for a lot of players; they’re high-damage high-accuracy. In the right hands, as you might imagine, they’re deadly. This has caused a lot of outcry on Social Media, with many rendering the current meta completely unplayable.
Thankfully, Raven Software haven’t been ignoring these cries. In a recent tweet, Raven Software have said the following:
‘ Don’t fret! we’ve heard you and a balance update is coming soon to address concerns about the DMR 14, Type 63, Mac 10, and dual pistols. ‘
It isn’t necessarily ground-breaking information, but a welcome surprise nonetheless. Personally, I haven’t seen the Type 63 getting as much flak… But, clearly Raven Software have recognised that it’s in need of a tune-up ( or tune-down) to keep it in check!
Please note, the upcoming DMR nerf will only affect Warzone. Black Ops Cold War developers Treyarch have not addressed any balancing criticisms. However, a lot of the time, regular patch updates include weapon balancing. So, it isn’t impossible to think something similar might occur in the next Cold War update.
Do you think this is the right move? A seemingly fan-forced DMR nerf for Warzone?
