In Warzone, you’ll find yourself in need of a Loadout Drop pretty frequently. Here’s everything you need to know about getting one!
In every game of Warzone, whether it’s 200-player Quads or Solos, a Loadout Drop spawns. If you survive long enough, you’ll be able to see that they drop several times. The second and third Drop isn’t useless, but it’s when you get your first one that matters.
Loadout Drops often fall in open areas and can draw two or three squads together. If you’re not there quick, or well-equipped, it can make for an early trip to the Gulag. However, there’s a way you can get your own Loadout Drop before that and make sure you’re locked and stocked as soon as possible.
In Warzone, Buying A Loadout Drop Will Cost You!
The first step is that you need money. Loadout Drop markers cost you $10,000. This may sound like a lot if you’re just looting, but contracts can be a great way to get this.
Scavenger contracts are always popular drops for this reason. Not only do you get cash for completing them, but you can also find cash in the boxes you open.
Secondly, you’ll need to hit a Buy Station. The Loadout Drop is right at the bottom of the store and replaces any equipment you might have. Don’t worry though, your Dead Silence or Recon Drone will drop on the floor so you can head back and pick them up afterwards.
Finally, you need to pick a good spot. Make sure you call it in somewhere with some protection or out of any lines of sight. Rooftops are often a good option, if you’re near one, or just outside a house that you can hide in.
Calling in a Loadout Drop sets off a red smoke that alerts enemies to your location, so when it does drop, make sure you’re quick grabbing your weapons!
It’s worth noting that while Supply Run contracts do offer you a discount at a Buy Station, this does not apply to the Loadout Drop.
